Large Head Pot
Hand-built from a beautiful earthenware clay that is no longer available. I made these in a single go from coils of hand-rolled clay taking up to eight hours to make. The surface was incised rather as a drawing and after a bisque firing the incisions were filled with an oxide mix that was covered in a clear glaze, the inside had a dark blue to grey glaze covering.
