Grey Mare
The first of a design I made from observing a paint drip on my studio wall which looked like a horse. Developed over time I knew it had to have a base otherwise I would have problems with firing cracks. The glaze is a titanium/rutile glaze that adheres to the clay as with Stoneware although this was fired to Earthenware.
