Scribble, Yowl, and Buster
Made around a cylinder shape from a slab of rolled clay, I later adapted this design to make Lions and Tigers. The whiskers were clay and the body was decorated in coloured slips or under-glazes under a clear earthenware glaze. Popular and fun to make, I often made these in a demonstration workshop at now defunct pottery associations or schools.
