A simple cylinder of rolled clay was the building element for this design. Maybe made 30? Slip and under-glaze decorated under coloured and clear glazes, usually fired to 1120c in an electric kiln. Tigers and cats were made along the same principle. A popular demonstration model for classes I held through the years.
