Chinese Chow Chows
Large sculptures 60 x 50 x 30 cm and fired in a gas kiln. the bright blue tongue is unique to the breed, not the friendliest dogs they are very much watch dogs but attract too much attention to be that effective. The design allowed me to use rich earthy tones using rutile and titanium which allows for glazes to flow for effect.
