Bufo Horriblis Fish
Hand-built using a cream earthenware clay which was incised and after bisque firing was rubbed over with blue cobalt oxides to fill the incisions, then covered in a clear glaze and fired in an electric kiln to 1100c. I began my career making fish sculptures for the tourist trade and consequently made many hundreds.
