8. Tree Dance
J. R. R. Tolkien’s fantasy world Middle-earth had Ents who closely resemble trees. They are like the talking trees in folklore found around the world in many cultures, for example consider Japanese Anime. Trees do talk, that’s why they grow together while others like some people are found by themselves. These two big gums are in some long discussion on the advantage of dropping bark early, although I suspect the discussion is more prosaic.
