Peppermint, Algae, Emmet, Dew
Cats were my most popular motif through my pottery career because I love the animal but also because the elements that make up the cat is easily recognizable. The shape is so adaptable, so I probably made close to 1600 cat sculptures. Fired in all sorts of kilns with slip, under-glaze and coloured/clear glazes-mostly earthenware, all had wire whiskers inserted.
