Long-necked Sauropods

These were made as a response to the first Jurassic Park movies, as well new animation techniques were making the moving image of such animals seem so real. Remember the internet was not publically available till 1994 and media manipulation was still very dependent on models and painted backdrops, so these movies seemed wildly impressive. I made these in two pieces that were held with steel reinforcing bars and epoxy glue. The glazes were varied as I made a few dozen through the time so glazes changed to suit my new recipes.
